Congress for Democratic Change (CDC) New York Chapter
The leadership and partisans of the CDC New York Chapter cordially invite the Liberian community and the general public to a town hall meeting on Sunday, February 21, 2010 in the 260 recreation room, 260 Park Hill Avenue, Staten Island. The CDC is a grassroots political institution championing cause of change, transparent and representative forms of democracy in Liberia. The party is considered by many a true reflection of broad spectrum of Liberians and a common unifier of the people and nation. The CDC was established few months to the 2005 general elections in Liberia with an overwhelming majority support from the masses.
Since then the CDC has set a new wave and tune of politics in Liberia, a party vast majority of the grassroots people envisaged as a new hope to carry out their mandates. During this town hall meeting, we will be honored to have in our midst one of Liberia’s true sons, an outstanding executive member and Acting National Secretary General of CDC, Mr. Acarius M. Gray. We will also have the opportunity to hear from Mr. Gray and some executives the CDC’s plans for the upcoming 2011 general elections intended to deliver the Liberian people wishes and aspirations. As we gather together to discuss our country’s future, we urge you to join the CDC in its quest for change in Liberia. CDC stands as a symbol of change we need to rally around, a political mirror we find our true identity and reflection.
